Weapons and drugs seized in two police raids

London police seized a large quantity of drugs and an assortment of weapons during two search warrants executed Tuesday and Wednesday (Oct. 7 and 8).
Two suspects are facing multiple charges after the London police guns and drug section raided two addresses, one in the city's northeast and one in the west.
The first search took place at 1:35 p.m., Tuesday, at a residence on Thistlewood Drive. Police seized a stun gun, a set of brass knuckles, two throwing stars, as well as digital scales, 3,755 marijuana plants valued at approximately $37,550 and 318 "harvested, dried marijuana plants" with a value of approximately $318,000. Also seized was $1,580 in Canadian currency, police said.
The second search occurred Wednesday at 1:25 a.m., at a Columbia Avenue residence where officers discovered a loaded sawed-off, 12-gauge shot gun, 53.2 grams of cocaine with an approximate value of $4,256, and $1,260 in Canadian Currency.
Ryan Masko, 25, and Michael Laur, 26, both of London, are charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Masko is additionally charged with four counts of breaching a weapons prohibition order, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and four charges related to the seized firearm.
Laur is additionally charged with breach of recognizance.
