The gruesome theft of empty urns and body bags stolen from a vehicle last week has resulted in two youths facing charges.

Police said a vehicle in a parking lot on Conway Drive was broken into Nov. 12, and empty urns and body bags were stolen from inside.

On Sunday (Nov. 15), police received information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items and some of the property was recovered, police said.

As a result of the investigation, two males, 15 and 17, both of London, have been charged with possession of stolen property.

Comments:
This is quite a strange crime. Normally you hear things like armed robberies at convenience stores, drug posessions and thefts at residences and businesses, but to hear about body bags and urns geing stolen is quite bazarre. I wonder why the culprits stole these items and what they were planning to do with them. I guess anything can happen.
