Senior facing drugs and weapons charges

A 70-year-old male suspect is facing multiple charges after a drug raid by the London police Guns and Drugs Section and the RCMP Drug Section, last week.
Police executed a search warrant at around 2 p.m., to a Crossley Hunter Line residence in Belmont and found oxycodone and morphine valued at $15,390.
Officers also seized $1,123.17 in cash, a 2008 Chevrolet truck and a loaded .22 calibre Mossberg rifle.
Lynn Jack Hepworth, 70,of Belmont, is charged with two counts of
possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, four counts of
possession of morphine for the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of
a firearm, unsafe storage of ammunition, storage of a firearm contrary
to regulations and possession of a firearm without being the holder of a
licence or registration.
